When Rainbow Brite (aka Wisp) first came to "Rainbow Land" it was not the colorful world we all know it to be now. Instead it was a dark frozen wasteland of monsters and wild beasts. It was the Pits in it's most terrifying incarnation. And the ruler of the dark land was the King of Shadows.
