The sprites are the colorful, happy little workers who mine and manufacture "Star Sprinkles," the magic crystals that form the colors.

Girl & Baby Sprites
Baby Sprites are miniature sprites with diapers and stars on their heads. They are not old enough to have antennas. Originally Baby Sprites were of two colors, but in the 2004 re-released Baby images, they are of one color.

Spectra Sprites

Known Spectra Sprites
Bombo
Bombo's title is "Polisher, first class", meaning he is very good as his job of skating/polishing Spectra.
Popo
Popo is another polisher who helps him. Popo doesn't draw too much attention to himself, and was able to stay out of the way of the Glitterbots, evil robots who controlled the Spectra Sprites in the Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer movie, and help save the day.
Orin
The most well known Spectra Sprite is Orin. It is unknown of the wondrous tale the Sprite's talk about when they tell their bedtime stories, but it is sure he is a brave, magical, and reasonable old Sprite.
