On the 58th annual parade in 1984 Rainbow Brite appeared in the parade following a group of many of the Parade's clowns and a costumed Twink Sprite. She rode atop the "Rocking Horse" Float, a pulled float fashioned in the shape of a giant rocking horse.

The year following the 1984 parade, in the 59th Annual parade in 1985 Rainbow Brite was given her own float and preformed a song "Rainbow Brite and Me".
Rainbow Brite was joined by several sprites and the "Show of Hands" performers.
